Emanuela Del Zompo is an actress, singer, journalist, writer and filmmaker. She began her career as an actress at the Bellini theater in Naples by performing in a comedy of errors directed by Tato Russo. She then moved on to TV with Maurizio Costanzo in ‘Buona Domenica’ before making her presene felt in cinema among national and international renowned directors such as Francesco Massaro, Tinto Brass, Luca Manfredi, Alessandro Capitani, Gabriele Muccino, Robin Ritter and Christian Voss. After this, had the leading role in a Rai International documentary: ‘Come prima, piu’ di prima, mi amero’’ (Like before and more than before shall I love myself).
She wrote the biography of Grace of Monaco and sings in a gospel choir. She has worked with Moving Pictures Magazine and America Today.
‘Grunda, the angel with the broken wings’, is a cartoon that she created, interpreted and produced, on the theme of femicide. ‘The legend of Kaira’ is the second comic created, produced and directed by Emanuela Del Zompo, which is a fantasy movie about the condition of women throughout the centuries. The superhero is a warrior who travels through time to time-traveling warrior to redeem herself and women as a whole.
She directed 3 short films in 2020: ‘Birthday during the pandemic - Covid-19 side effects’, ‘The womens’ angels’ and ‘The Legend of Kaira’.
In 2021 she produced, directed and interpreted ‘Arika & Neil’, a fantasy short movie and the second chapter of ‘The Legend of Kaira’.
She is currently preparing ‘Prophecy’, which is the story of a banshee and the last chapter in the short movie of ‘The Legend of Kaira’.
She is an honorary member of bon’t Worry’ (an association against violence on women) and is also a member of the Penitentiary Police Association of Rome.
